Killer Shrimp

So was hoping for more based on reviews. Service lacks; we got our first cocktail but our waiter never came back to ask if we wanted refills. We were excited about the appetizer as the first picture below shows what we anticipated based on another review. Second photo is what we actually received. I recognize we might not be in season for some of the fare, but make up for it somewhere else especially because we are paying the same amount. In the end, I don't think I would revisit this restaurant as there are many, many more out there worth trying.

Killer shrimp has killer food. I ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer. Very good. The kids had Angus sliders and fries and they loved them. I ordered the fisherman stew and it was delicious. My only regret.........I held back and didn't overeat. I'm going back next time with a bigger appetite.

It was an interesting place. The food was good. The service was appropriate. All in all, it was fine. The view might have been great but it was dark when we arrived

Great service. The food is good, too, however, for a restaurant of this caliber, I would think that fully deveining their shrimp would be important to them. To me, nothing ruins a shrimp dish faster than to have more than half of the shrimp full of poop. Also, they don't filter their water, so even fountain sodas taste like a swimming pool. If they fixed these two issues, it could be a 5-star review.
