Merengue Bakery & Cafe

Always great pastries and good food also.
They bakery is second to none...their cuban parties are to die for.
They do really good sandwiches and pretty good breakfast.
The new place is so much nicer than the old.
The staff always greet you with a smile, and walk you through the selection of pastries.
I would certainly recommend this place.

Nice little neighborhood place for coffee, lunch and to pick up pastries and cakes. Be sure to try their empanadas. Yummy!

I’ll open by saying the cake is actually really damn delicious. White cake raspberry jam filling. My only concern was how it was given to me at pick up. It was in an oversized sheet cake box even though the cake was only 8in. And there was no cover. Which means the cake was completely exposed to any air contamination being flies or my hair as I’m carrying it and also any potential mess should it slide in my car (despite the little slip proof pads the provide). A cake this delicious should really be fully protected and covered. Never had a Bakery give me an open box cake before. Just strange and unprofessional? But good cake.

I wanted to send one of my great customers lunch as a thank you for a really great referral, so I Googled it from all the way across the country. I did a bit of research because I wanted something that was unique, but not too off the wall. I chose Merengues and I was not disappointed. Rachel took care of me and my client! She made some great suggestions to keep me in my budget and my client and her staff LOVED it! I will definitely use her again! 5 Star experience from literally shooting in the dark!
