Chicken was so juicy and flavorful. Sweet potatoe fries were cooked perfect. Daddy's is well worth the stop!
I got to be honest when I tell you guys about this this is probably I would say the best chicken sandwich place I have ever been to in my entire life the food is really good like really really good the prices are decent as well and it doesn't really seem to be too much of a line if you're ever in the area I would definitely say check this place out the service is really nice as well one piece of advice I will give you guys parking is not easy in that area so expect to either pay for public parking which is about $3 or if you guys can find the meter parking a lot of the meter parking in that area does not accept debit card so you may need to bring change or there's an app you can download as well I would say honestly the only thing is that food can be a bit messy and a little bit too oily especially with the spicy chicken daddy so definitely be careful with nice clothing I seen a couple people drop the sauce all over their pants I don't live in that area but if I did this would be my go-to spot
We ordered the chicken bowl and Spicy Daddy. They’re not too bad. The chicken was decently fried without too much of the breading. It wasn’t as spicy as the other reviewers have commented. The star is the black rice from the bowl. That’s really unique around here.
I star less for the price. For Pasadena I feel it’s decently priced if they’ve included the fries and drink.
I am a huge fan of fried chicken so was excited to hear of a new fried chicken sandwich place. The spicy chicken sandwich was amazingly flavorful with a kick and the chicken was crispy and tender. Love the Asian flavors. The sweet potato fries were yummy too. Yes, it costs more than Chick-fil-A, but this is a gourmet sandwich on a brioche bun. I love Chick-fil-A too, but it just doesn’t compare. Daddy’s is in a league of its own. I also feel good knowing I’m supporting a small business trying to start out. As I type this review, I’m getting a craving for another spicy chicken sandwich!
