Kathleen's Restaurant

Lunch was delicious. We also bought their cinnamon cream cheese bread, which is delicious. This is a lovely, not too pretentious restaurant great for a quick high quality meal.

We were out looking for a good place for a late breakfast. Every place we went had a long line. We accidentally found Kathleen's. What a treat. Great service & food! $1 mimosas on the first round. Great coffee. Check this place out!

This place is a Hidden Gem. Don't be thrown off by the all the old people that eat their ther. Wait maybe I'm one of them. Well this place is ripe for becoming popular with the young folks. It's been around a long time and there's good reason why.

How I've never been here in the 28 years I've lived in Pasadena, I'll never know... But now that I have I can tell I'll be a frequent visitor.

First off the bathroom is adorable, do you see this sink?!! That's just the nastolgic designer in me.

Of course the hot chocolate was adorable too. A full mug of whipped cream & a warm little pot of chocolate to pour over.

I devoured the cream of zucchini before I remembered to take a pic but it was delicious.

Dad & I shared the Reuben, SO tender, yummy sauerkraut, and the Cole slaw side dad didn't let me have any... Too good!

I now understand why it's been here for more than 35 years... See you so soon.

Kathleen's has been our "go to" spot in Pasadena for years. The quality is great and Kathleen and her staff make a visit here like home.

All of the baked items are exceptional and the holidays bring all the favorites. My personal favorite item on the menu is grilled salmon on a bed of salad greens with tomatoes and capers. The entire menu is great.
