Amara Cafe & Restaurant (Chocolate & Coffee)

OMG! This sweet shop has delicious coffee and desserts. They also have food. The staff are excellent.

4.7 is much to high considering 5 is perfect . So let's be honest people .
Because it was rate 4.7 my expectations were high ,
This place is quaint , nice location , a different style of breakfast , more Spanish style .
The food I ordered was tasty !
I couldn't get the woman with the glasses to give a genuine smile , and I tried , must have been in a mood or not a happy person .
All in all it was fine but NOT a 4.7

This is a great place to get a variety of choclate deserts and drinks. I would definitely come again and recommend it. But, my only problem is that some of the hot cocoas have a strong bitter aftertaste, which is a characteristic of chocolate, but some may not enjoy it. I wish i could give it 4 and a half stars but google wont let me. Overall, i reccomend.

This place is a lovely little cafe that you can just sit in and let time pass by. I went with my boyfriend and we both tried their varieties of drinking chocolate and it was DELICIOUS, I'll have to come back for more and hopefully give an update on the treats and dishes they have there (came 45 minutes before closing so there wasn't much time to order one considering the amount of people within the cafe-I didn't want to trouble them). Fair warning: the place is quaint and fair sized but VERY popular so it may prove a little challenge to grab a seat inside the moment you walk in but do not let that deter you from coming here it is well worth it!

They have my favorite drink in town, which is an espresso + hot chocolate. It tastes amazing and wakes you up great! I asked about it, and what they do is they make a standard latte, and then toss in Venezuelan dark chocolate into it. They have a number of these chocolate/espresso drinks, such as with chile, ginger, etc., and they're all amazing! I tried their Venezuelan breakfast once, and it was great also.

Overall, the place has a classy and relaxed vibe, and the owners and workers here are friendly and helpful.
