Galanga Take Two

This hole in the wall place is the best little Thai place in University Heights! They serve their food fast, their pad see yew and drunken noodles are bomb! Their boba Thai tea is delicious as well. Their costs are about $10 a plate but you can definitely make it into two meals. Go check this place out

I would give it six stars if I could.
I came when no one else was there and Fifth Element was on mute. The menu is small in size, but big in selection, so anyone can find their favorite there.
Some pages sound more like a Chinese selection, but you'll find enough curry and noodles here that will satisfy.
I went with the Curry Dumplings and Roasted Duck Curry. Both were amazing, but the duck really got me. I had a plan to stop eating right in the middle (since I had an appetizer), but I just could. not. stop. eating!
The meat was sooooo soft, yet, they weren't bashful to put the skin and fat on the plate too...and it added an amazing flavor to the whole thing.
There was enough food for two, but I killed it all!
I wish I was from around here (I'm not - just passing through), because this would easily be my weekly stop.

Enjoyed this Thai restaurant. The inside decor was nice and modern. The food was pretty good. Order the Pad See Yu and it was decent. They had a lot of variety on the menu. They take reservations. We found parking in the lot at the back of the restaurant. There's only a few spot and be careful not to park on the Arley's spot.

We like this place. Try the duck curry, or the eggplant, and get a tray of chili condiments, because they don't make their food hot by default. We meet here with SPLASH (S. P. Local Area Secular Humanists) the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 6 to 9 PM. Come join us if you like, or move to the other side of the restaurant for some quiet time.
