Sun Life’s açaí bowls are great as are the toppings that they have available. The price is slightly high but not outrageous. They have a cute storefront that has a few seats at a bar facing the shops. Although I enjoyed my bowl, I have visited other places since due to the less welcoming employees. The last time I visited the three girls took a few minutes to realize I was present, yet we are all in the front room, they were just in their own conversation. At the time this did not bother me, however when they noticed I was there they simply said “What did you want to get?” I ordered and they didn’t say anything further except for the total. I sat in the window and read and did not hear from them again. I don’t mind the minimal conversation but it felt as though I wasn’t welcome and seemed to be more of a bother. I’ll try again in hopes of a more welcoming environment but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
