Guisados

Newly opened in Pasadena. Enjoyed being able to order a variety of tacos. They were also giving out free bags of Mexican pastries to introduce their bakery. Check out their menu online. I'm a picture guy for food so this was very helpful. This location has outdoor seating which is especially nice at this time if you want to eat at the restaurant. Horchata was great as well.

Great to have a location close to home. Top notch handmade tortillas. Proteins are great and good vegetarian options. If none of this convinces you remember this place one of the favorites of Jonathan Gold as seen in this new location. Like another reviewer said get the sampler to figure out what your favorite but you won't be dissapointed with any of them.

Happy there is a Guisados in Pasadena now with parking. Our favorite is always going to be the mole, horchata, quesadilla con chorizo and...I could go on. We love them all! So because this review is being written during Covid everything was ordered to go. I was able to go in and order which I appreciated and stay a safe enough distance away from anyone there which was good. Food was great however instead of getting quesadilla con chorizo which I paid for I received steak picadillo which is cheaper. I am not going to go back after going home. It was a bummer because that was actually for me... So maybe check? I will probably not check and just continue to accept this as part of the transitional period because almost all of my favorite places I've ordered take out from have screwed up an order in one way or the next if I have ordered for more than just me which is 95% of the time.
