Mama D's Redondo Beach

This is a great Italian restaurant with a very family friendly atmosphere. The food was top notch Italian and the service was excellent. Highly recommended. I'm from out of town but can tell the locals really love it!

This was my first visit here. The food was good and the staff was great. I definitely recommend getting the pink sauce rather than the marinara. I ordered the meat ravioli and the sauce that came with it was too chunky for my liking. Some of the tomato chunks were bigger than the actual ravioli. My daughter ordered her pasta with the pink sauce and it was incredible.

There was a gentleman sitting at the table next to us and he was doing magic tricks. When he got up he came over to my daughters and did a few tricks for them. They really enjoyed that. Our waiter (Dan I believe?) told us that the gentleman doing the magic tricks was one of the owners. I thought that was a real nice touch.

Had high expectations for this place since I was told about the original one in Manhattan Beach being great! Happened to be in the area tonight with my family and seen it open. Nice looking place with a warm feeling, staff at first was decent. We ordered some water and our food. I asked the waiter for straws and throughout the night he never came back with them. ( It wasn't even busy, maybe 3 tables being occupied ) next comes out food.. The wife and my son seemed to like it, I was whatever about it. Anyways during our visit we never got asked if everything was ok or if we needed anything. Some more bread would have been good! Yup nothing until they seen we had finished our food and gave us the check. I'm not salty about the place I just wish they could have had better service. I was really looking forward to coming here once I found out this location was open.

I love that they have cashew Alfredo sauce sauteed in mushroom...mmmmh! It was so pleasant and the waiter was so welcoming. The best tasting Alfredo dish I have ever had though! Their mozzarella sticks were perfect! I can't wait to come back. Thank you Chef!

Great place! The service is so friendly and attentive. Very family friendly. Kids can make their own pizza and they have a letter box for Santa. Very cute. Salad was amazing. Pizza was good too. Highly recommend.
