This place is right at the edge of the pier. The food was good. The server was great. She was very polite and very good at take our order even though we were a big party (9 of us). We went during the summer so it was hot even tho the windows’ were open and the fan were on but that’s not there fault but still great to see the ocean while you eat brunch
Crab is the best menu here. Ocean and beach view is beatiful. Public parking lot is close to restaurant.
Everything is convenient.
Now that the Redondo landing pier has been cleaned up, you can actually have a meal here. I guess there can be a long wait on nice summer days. I prefer to come in the winter when it's less crowded and the weather is more conducive to spicy fish tang. Yes the prices are up there. Fresh seafood is a luxury item. The seafood here is usually fresh. If it is not ???? then send it back. Big jumbo shrimp is served sashimi style then the heads are fried and served after. That was my big hit.
Pretty damned good spicy fish soup!!
That said it's a pretty low-key, modest, cliche waterfront restaurant otherwise, down to the lack of A/C, the butcher paper covering the tables, and ample sinks to wash your hands after eating seafood.
Would definitely go again for the fish soup and probably for the crab... as good a deal as the sashimi is here, I wasn't quite as impressed by it.
