A real proper hidden gem. I'm not sure what the previous reviewer did or ate but I can only assume it was an off day. The food is great and I can really recommend the tofu and black bean sauce and the jalapeno rice. I'm definitely coming back.

Top Wok disappointed me. I was craving the Chinese take-out comfort food I remember from my youth--not fancy fusion cuisine, not challenging authentic cuisine, and not fast food--and after reading these reviews, I was hopeful that Top Wok would hit the spot. I ordered hot braised shrimp and pork with broccoli. The pork was not great, but the shrimp was the real disaster. There were two shrimp in my hot braised shrimp. Two. The dish was 80% under-cooked carrots. If they were out of shrimp, they could have told me and I would have ordered something else.

The restaurant was clean and empty, the prices were low, and the staff was friendly enough. If I lived across the street from this place I would try it again and hopefully find something on the menu that I like.
