Yanagi Bistro

I admire this venue a lot. It has a happy feeling. The cuisine is superb. the service is efficient and the crew is trained. The price is decent. greatly recommend.

From former gas station to decent sushi place.

Service is usually annoyed and impatient, but the fish is good.

Yanagi is close to my house and reliably good, so I go there often enough.

However, there are never any smiles, warmth or friendliness and that's a total buzz kill.

Not quite 4 stars - food is good, service is meh.

This spot is worth visiting. They serve big portions for reasonable prices. Regularly neat and with good ambience. Would recommend to others.

Nice small place, maybe only a little dark for my personal taste (but to someone it may feel more intimate?!). Just stopped for a quick lunch right before closing hours, the staff was nice enough to let us eat nonetheless. Excellent variety in the menu, and prices seemed overall on the cheap side. Great sushi and sashimi. Presentation is on point, service is efficient. Not to pricy, one of my favorite local sushi spots. As expected of any good sushi restaurants, the fish is fresh, the presentation is beautiful, the fish is served at the right temperature, and the rice compliments the fish. I honestly am not to fond of most sushi rolls, i prefer the beauty of the fish to shine, and this placer does it right. They do have the more popular heavily sauced rolls, and they do them great, but go for the simple stuff it's really great stuff.
