My first time there. Dim sum. Only had five dishes. The Chelsea Bell was steamed and large, it had the fluffiest dou I've ever had. Almost too much though, but interesting. The shrimp dumpling and the chicken feet were both very good. The rice wrap beef steamed roll had good flavor. But dough was thicker than at other restaurants. The fried round mochi balls with sesame was also good. All of this cost $30 plus tips. So pricier than other places. Atmosphere is very elegant. Very impressed with the huge big screen
Great Dim Sum!! A class above other dim sum place in San Gabriel Valley. One of the last few Chinese restaurants that local food critic legend Jonathan Gold written about.
The food was surprisingly good considering how the previous restaurants did not do well in this location. It was a full house and there was several divided rooms for large groups. There's also a giant screen against the wall for the projector. It has been nicely decorated and the food was great. The lobster was amazing. I will say it's better than Boston Lobster and Newport seafood. Definitely worth a try!
The richest person I have ever met chose this location as the place for us to go for a Friday lunch to entertain cheif executives from a huge company.
It did not disappoint.
The lobster I saw displayed in the tanks were easily three times larger than any lobster I have ever seen displayed before.
The interior was quite nice, much more modern than the usual dim sum hall that seats 800 people.
