The Old Town Junction

Visited for the first time yesterday and loved it!My friend and I both enjoyed a refreshing “mocktail” as we caught up on our personal lives without being rushed to order, which was appreciated. I enjoyed every bite of the veggie butternut squash gnocchi with roasted vegetables. Presentation was lovely! My friend enjoyed the “animal friendly” burger which was mouth watering, and she reported it to be delicious. The menu abounds with dishes that I can’t wait to try. I’ll be back soon!

Ordered deviled eggs, mac n cheese, beet salad, short rib, cheddar apple pie, donut chocolate cake, and the winter gold rush to drink. I'd recommend it all except maybe the chocolate cake which wasn't horrible, but just kinda meh. They have some decent vegan and vegetarian options like the awesome Impossible burger! This was my first time checking this place out and I'm definitely going to come back.

Delicious food! Went on a Friday night. We knew it would be a wait so we hung out at the standing communal bar and met some great folks. We had the pork belly and the crudo appetizers and the rib eye, cooked perfectly (medium rare) and the short rib for our entrees. Short rib could use more seasoning but I really enjoyed it. We ate at the main bar and the bartenders were engaging and fun.

My experience here was fantastic. As with all new restaurants they are still working out some kinks. The first time I went they estimated an hour wait because one half the restaurant was set up for a party. We understood and made a reservation for another day. I love that they take reservations except that they require you to download an app to confirm. The hostess was awesome and the waiter was good. I did find it funny that we were never asked if we wanted dessert. I did not but we were just brought the check. Now the food makes up for any new restaurant quarks. I ordered the house made Gnocchi and it was incredible. I was impressed with the amount of short rib that was in it. I will definitely be going back and maybe next time I will save room for dessert.

Food is absolutely amazing melt in your mouth and best taste you don’t want to be in a rush..Just enjoy the dinner and atmosphere. Great place for a date night! Amazing drinks, just overall impressed. We had the tacos as appetizer and the fish cod sandwich. ????????
