Overrated, too expensive, nothing extraordinary on the menu, I think people go just to show you how much they can spend rather than how sophisticated is their palate. So many many more places in Santa Monica that offer more savory fare at prices worth the experience. This Capo is more of a culinary Corporal.

My husband took me here for my 50th birthday. We were joined by friends who are very special to us. My husband was familiar with this establishment and so we were excited to get there and experience it first hand.
First of all, we were given the best table in the house. We immediately were greeted and told about the specials and offered a glass of wine. The whole staff were more than gracious and really took good care of us. We noticed all the amazing and unusual art work and especially cool was the digital clock in the corner.
The food was amazing. The ceasar salad with charred romaine was soo good and the rest of the dinner only got better from there!
They were busy and the dining room was full, but it was still very intimate and cozy.
I will never forget the Black Friday I turned 50, the effort my sweet husband put into making it special and the sweet friends we had with us.

The best rib eye steak Ive ever tasted! The rib eye from here literally haunts me. it was the best piece of meat I've ever put in my mouth. A+, bravo!!!!
