Light, airy and intimate when it’s slow and fun+sociable on weekend evenings—of course, as others can attest to, Local has some of the best pizza I’ve had in my 30 years in America. Servers are super attentive and polite, while patient when explaining the menu. Happy they’re in the neighborhood!

Great vibe. Excellent, intelligent service. The truffle pizza was a hit. The hanger steak, diver scallops and cioppino all earned rave reviews. The dessert assortment we ordered was better than expected. Our family will return.

Wonderful atmosphere amazing food salads, fish, pizza, amazing meat something for everyone.weeknds are brunch they do not open until 1100 or so amazing brunch breakfast lunch. I always take out of town friends. A place you can be casual or dress up and it all works. Amazing cocktails and staff you feel like are lovely acquaintances. They change the menu as the seasons change. You never get tired and never feel I have had this and bored. You can go quite frequently. Love it local secret.

This restaurant has been around for over 2 years and I had not been in it. I have no idea why. We just showed up and they found us a much better table than we expected. The gentleman that seem to be the owner remembered me the second time in 1 week and was extremely congenial. The environment is fun and edgy, with really good food and Cocktails and something very different on Ocean Park Boulevard in Santa Monica. I will definitely return with friends. They also have a lovely bar where everyone is friendly and conversational including the staff. Touche!

It's literally our 'local' farm to table restaurant where you can have a delicious meal that's both healthy and delicious. From a handful of wood fired pizzas to a select few pastas and salads - it's a tightly curated selection of great options. My only complaint would be the absence of a fish protein to add to the salads (chicken is the only option). But with a well equipped bar and a comfy dining room, you're in for a good meal.
