Cabo Cantina

Honestly really good for being a cantina. Salsa is very good. Burritos are really good, but on the small side. French fries were thick cut but still crispy. Best server ever running the upstairs virtually on her own today. She was super sweet and ran 3 big groups and some two person groups with no slip ups. My boyfriend and I were super impressed.

Everyone knows what to expect with Cabo. Food is Tex Mex style (not authentic, but that's fine!) with very big, strong drinks. The objected is to get you drunk and have heavy, tasty Mexican food to temper the buzz. Per usual, there is a pinkish hue to the lighting and the inside is cramped and noisy, which is also great if you're in a lively mood or out with friends. It's always a lively crowd. I think Cabo could be so much better if it were cleaner and just a bit more elevated in terms of the details. There is often grime on the tables (can I please get a rag with hot water with a little splash of bleach?), door knob to bathroom and the walls. It's a weird thing to notice but the bar stools are woven plastic and cheap, often ripping in places. Otherwise food is hot and reliably tasty, and drinks are strong.

Great service, friendly. Prices are in line with the area which makes them fair for the area, just a little more then our normal. Still, we always stop in and have one if we are close by.

They also serve food. We have not ate there yet, but from what we have seen the dishes look delicious and satisfying. Definitely on our list of places to eat at.

I was feeling more than grateful but the cashier never brought my change back... Really thought more about this place. It really cost them the good tip I was planning on bringing. You better have exact change of you plan on coming. Really disappointed ????
