Sunny Blue

Little hidden gem in Santa Monica. Especially if you are a little hungry but not hungry enough for a full meal, 1-2 delicious onigiri or the udon (serves occasionally) can help satisfy your hunger. Price is very reasonable too for the area.

A-m-a-z-i-n-g. You can take only a sunny blue Curry and get a very tasty chunk of chicken wrapped in rice for less than 4$. They are very well organized so you will be served as fast as humanly possible.
Everything we ordered tasted different and very good for a small price. Highly recommended.

Tasty and inexpensive place to grab a quick snack or light lunch. Kids love this spot, too, but beware there are very few spots to actually sit! Known in Japanese as "omusubi" or "onigiri" they serve warm balls of hand formed rice with a choice of delicious fillings. Yummy side dishes as well.

Don't let the small venue deter you. Friendly staff, good food, good price, fast service. Two rice balls (around $7 or $8) should be around enough for a meal. The curry rice balls come highly recommended!

Love this place! Its my go-to for a quick meal on Main Street in Santa Monica. Not much space to eat inside, but the rice balls are delicious. I recommend the Tokyo Tori and Pork Curry.
