    My go-to place for comfort food. They have WiFi so I get my work done while looking out at the beautiful Santa Monica daylight and the sidewalk cafe’. This place is my bliss. *random factoid - Uplifters Ranch nearby this cafe that bears the same name, was founded by L. Frank Baum (Writer of wizard of Oz) and several other entertainment luminaries. It was an eccentric lot of creatives and moguls of their time . They hosted theater performances and enjoyed many nights of celebrations & debauchery.

    I never thought healthy food can be so tasty! I loved every dish.

    Great vibe and good food. Can get a bit crowded but have never had an issue getting a seat. The outdoor seating can be pleasant.

    Pro tip: Parking can be challenging but there are a lot of meters on 28th street south of Ocean Park.

    Very nice staff. Cute grassroots feel. Very affordable and the food was delicious. They also get points for having a large shelf of hot sauce.
    The sage water is also a plus.
