Very tasty. The staff was very kind and attentive. Prices are reasonable I would say.

One of the best sandwich spots in Los Angeles hands down!

From the bread that they use that is made fresh daily, some of the different salamis and cheeses for the sandwiches. Outside of Fresh Sandwiches they also have different Italian side dishes like peppers and sausage. They also have a full supermarket which different specialty foods.

Our family owned a deli on the East Coast for over 20 years. I swore I would never eat a sandwich from anywhere else. Until I wandered into Bay Cities...

Now I’m addicted. Every sandwich I have had is amazing. And I truly mean amazing. Whenever my mom visits from back East it is the first thing we eat. Typically we grab a bottle of wine, a few sandwiches, maybe some cheese and freshly baked bread, and head straight to the beach!

Sure it’s almost always crazy busy, the parking isn’t fun unless you have a small car or ride your bikes like we do, and yes, some things are a bit pricey, but the sandwiches, cheese selection, fresh pastas...it’s all worth it!

Definitely busy -grab a number as soon as you walk in. Not just a deli but a market as well. It looked like there's a wine shop too. Small sandwich is plenty. Bread is amazing and fully loaded is messy but delicious. They have Boar's head deli.

In a city where new and hip “try” to reign supreme, this is an LA classic that will forever be one of the cities best. Can’t go wrong with any sub (especially the Godmother!) and the accompanying market provides all the best quality snacks one can ask for.
