Back on the Beach Cafe

The place has a very good location right by the beach, but the lines are crazy long and time estimates are inaccurate. She quoted me an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes, and they seated is two hours later. Additionally, the food is mediocre. I ordered the fried polenta with spinach and mushrooms, and it tasted okay. It's like diner quality food. Nothing amazing, but nothing bad. For for the adults (no alcohol) and the kids was about $110 before tips. The real reason we go here is because the kids can play in the sand and play area while we wait.

The service here is fantastic. The location with an unobstructed beach view is hard to beat. The food is made with fresh ingredients, which is rare for a place that could just take advantage of the location.

Attentive service and delicious food; had a lovely view of the ocean from our table. Great place for a special gathering, or to take out of town guests.

We stopped in a for a quick snack during our visit along the beach. We ordered the sweet potato fries and lemonade. The fries were nicely done and the accompanying aeoli was good. The lemonade had a natural flavor and wasn't too sweet. Having a view of the beach was great plus. Overall, it was a nice experience.

I have been coming here for at least 20 years and they never let me down. There are so few places actually on the beach where you can order actual food beyond a hot dog. You can sit right on the sand if you like. The wait staff is friendly, the selection and food is great and the views are unmatched! A great place for breakfast or lunch at the beach!!
