(February 25, 2019, 6:51 am)Place was recommended by a friend. We tried the black and modan ramen. Great taste. Good portions. Even better prices. Also, recommend their brussel sprouts. It's a popular dish served with aoili sauce. Went on a Sunday night around 7pm and it was quite busy - can't imagine what peak Friday or Saturday nights would be like! If you're in South Pasadena, definitely a place to give a look to on these cold nights or for a satisfying ramen fix.

(January 21, 2019, 8:38 pm)I had Vegan Ramen and the service is pretty good. We had to wait for about 20 minutes outside the place due to heavy demand, when we went on Friday evening. So make sure you plan accordingly

(December 29, 2018, 1:52 am)Good food. Just wish the tables weren't so close to each other. Inevitably conversations from your table start getting feedback from neighboring diners. Not that I have many skeletons in my closet but I'm not getting paid to entertain.

(December 2, 2018, 1:20 am)Small place so definitely plan ahead if you’re going during a meal rush time. Everything is so tasty here, the broth, the noodles, the meat options, and the appetizers. Service is quick, and everyone is quite friendly.

(November 21, 2018, 4:49 am)Came here on a Friday evening. Was about a 15-20 minute wait at 7:30pm. The place is not that big, so volume is key for them. The ramen is pretty darn good. I ordered the Black and the broth tasted a little rich (with lots of garlic.. yum), and delicious if you're into that. Also got the pork combo set, which is basically a really tasty rice bowl with pork, and salad.
