年轻石代 (O Young's Rock Pot)

Little on the spicy side, even for mild. Otherwise, flavorful.

Delicious pots. Ordered mushroom pot, this was awesome. And ordered the chicken pot, lots of bones and not too much meat. Flavor was on point. But the service was poor, they did keep coming to bring water and filling our cups. The kitchen staff was sitting at the back customer tables playing League of Legends on their phone, or another guy went to the front to smoke cigarettes. Location is easily missed, plenty of parking if you find it. I tried it, but will not return in the future.

It's 2.5 - 3 stars. They have 2 different set of menus. One is already preset rock pot with the choice of meat and the other is build your own. The preset pot costs around ~$13 and build your own is around ~$19. So, it's $6 different for one meat base plus 5 sides add on. I don't really that is worth it to get build your own for $6 extra. The only bad thing about preset pot is that the menu only paired what kind of meat is in there and there is no description of what extra included in the pot. When I inquired about it and they said each pot has slightly different ingredient in there. Some pots have noddles and some don't. So, it is really hard to decide what you should add on additional to the preset pot even if you want to.

In term of flavors, they 3 different type is spiciness. And I feel like mild is still pretty spicy. In addition, the flavor of the soup is so salty. We have to order additional bowl of rice to reduce the saltiness of the soup.

Come here if you're craving a hot pot. It's similar to places like boiling point except it's not. You can choose the set pots or build your own for $18. The build your own comes with way more good than the cheaper option. Delicious option but can be a wait.
