Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong

Very cool place. Family style restaurant but good for a group of friends too. Plenty of seating with grills. We went on a Monday and it was pretty packed but only waited about 10 min for my small party of 3. The server was very friendly & attentive even though he was super busy. The prices are a bit high but the meat appears to be very fresh and clean. They provide a bunch of sides like fermented cabbage and pickled radishes included with your choice of package but you can also choose different meats (beef and pork) a la carte. Beer and Soju only. No full bar. If I wasn't moving out of Los Angeles, I'd be back a few more times!

I like it. The menu is a bit overwhelming. Small combo is ideal for 2.5 people. Large is ideal for 5 people. It will get you full enough but you will probably end up ordering more.

Service is attentive and fast.

Had to wait 30 mins because one of their missions besides great tasting food is Service so they regulate flow. Service is wonderful, courteous, frequent, and accurate. Cooks come to your table and cook your meat to your liking. Lots of delicious sides. Go there!

Food is always good. Can't complain about the meat quality or the side dishes. They have a great check-in system that sends texts to your phone once your table is ready so you can wait outside or walk around the plaza.

Radish Cold Noodles can be split for two but be quick as the noodles will quickly go soggy.

If you're looking for a date night, this isn't the best environment to carry a 1:1 conversation when the vent system is in between you and the other person. Having a server come and cook your food can be awkward so save your date nights for another place. Come here to eat. :)

this is a decent Korean barbecue place and the waiter will cook for you. The meat quality is great and the price is a bit on the higher side. The ventilation is great so it is not as smelly. The lighting is good so you don't feel sleepy. The chairs have a compartment for you to put your jackets so that it won't smell like burnt meat.
