The restaurant is very new. Lots of seating. Love some of the booth tables because you have your own TV screen!! Love the big windows along the restaurant, it is bright and look more spacious.
The Service: Super efficient! Many staffs working on the floor. Any staff pass by our table would pick up the dirty dishes, not just our server. They are always nearby when we need any service. Good customer service!
The Food: Always love dim sum. It is a definitely above average! Higher quality food and ingredients. Food is prepared fast so we can enjoy the food right away. We are very happy with all the dishes we order. My favorite has to be the tarot cake. You can literally eat big pieces of tarot every single bite.
The Parking: Parking lot behind the restaurant (free)
Food is good and black coffee can refill. Lunch special is good choice!
Green Island is now Wonder Seafood. Loved their curry lobster.
Green Island is a cantonese restaurant but with a more modern look. The interior looks elegan and a bit western. The food is just like any other cantonese restaurant but offer daily special and some signature item like the rib eye fried rice.
I've eaten here a couple of times and both times were pleasant. It's more decorated than a lot of other Asian/Chinese restaurants so that's nice. I recommend the rib-eye fried rice. It comes to the table in a hot metal skillet/pot and they finish up the cooking of the rib-eye, table-side. Prices are a bit higher than you'd expect but the food does some what make up for it. And if watching canto dramas are your things, each table has their own little tv that's usually playing a Cantonese drama. Overall it's a good place to eat with a group of people rather than just one or two people.
