Very good but the pastrami was a little too salty compared to the way I remembered it used to be. The chili cheese fries were very good though. Just don't add salt.

The Hat is known for it's pastrami and it doesn't disappoint! It is thin sliced so don't expect thick slices of meat but it does have good flavor! I usually go for the pastrami and fries but every once in a while I just get the pastrami chilli cheese fries!! They are big enough to share! The fries also only come in one size that enough for 2-3 people.

I happened to be driving down the street and saw this restaurant and decided to try it, im glad I did. Restaurant was clean and organized. The staff was nice. I ordered a turkey sandwich on a French roll, cheeseburger and small fry. The French roll was nice and soft, the tomatoe was cut way too thick for a sandwich though. The cheeseburger was good. The small fries are huge, big enough for 3-4 people.

The Hat Will Always Be At The Top Of The Short List Of Must Go To Restaurants In L.A. County. Simply 1 Of The Best Pastrami Sandwiches Around California R Made At The "World Famous Hat" Restaurant. If Not The Best. Try The Hat, U Definitely Will Not Be Sorry That U Did, EVER.

At The Hat, I can assure you that they serve THE WORLD'S BEST PASTRAMI. The food here is so delicious. The atmosphere is also really nice. I would recommend the Pastrami Dip. It is a classic. I would also get the lesser known pastrami chili cheese fries. They are self explanatory. I love this place.
