My husband brought me last Friday to the Temple City location for my birthday, and this place did not disappoint! We both had the Diamond Wagyu set, which included unlimited japanese wagyu. I hope we can visit any of the other locations soon since where we live there is nothing like this . P.S. ,Tyler was an excellent waiter who provided some of the best customer service we have received 😀.

Great dining experience; the food is fresh and the quality is excellent. The staff are very attentive so you always have food and are taken care of. They have different sets and each have their own special items and prices. I suggest to go with Silver and work your way up. The silver set is already very good and satifying. My only complaint is that the venue is pretty noisy since it is a pretty popular place.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE: My first time was at their Cerritos location, so I wanted to check out their Temple City location. Came twice in one week LOL... definitely enjoyed it!

The number to the restaurant does not direct you to the host, which is a bit frustrating...

AMBIANCE: Noise level is average. A bit disappointed that they don't have a big enough table for more than 4 ppl. For a table of 5, they put one chair at the end of a table of 4. Not a fan, just because there are a lot of dishes that come out, so there isn't enough space. They placed our party back to back (which is better than being separated). The table by the entrance is not ideal (super close to the entrance, ppl waiting inside crowd the table, and ppl smoking right outside make for an unpleasant experience).

    ORDERED:
    - Silver Wagyu Set. We selected the spicy miso and sukiyaki broth.
    - For the Special Dishes: Wagyu Bone Marrow and Wagyu Tartare. A bit disappointed that the tartare came with chips. I think wontons would've been better. Sweet Shrimp was fresh! Wagyu Nigiri was good!
    - The quality of meat was delicious and the veggies were all fresh!
    - Seafood Platter was fresh! I especially enjoyed the scallop and abalone. (this is not AYCE, you only get the platter once).
    - Ice cream: vanilla, matcha, strawberry (sad they didn't have coffee at this location)

    DIFFERENCES FROM CERRITOS:
    - they don't have a self-service bar like Cerritos. whatever you want, they will get it for you.
    - the spicy clams came in their shell, whereas Cerritos did not (prefer them without the shell)
    - wish they had coffee ice cream at Temple City

SERVICE: Service was phenomenal! All the servers were friendly and attentive. The food was brought out quickly! Maybe that's bc you have a 90min time limit LOL

    PRICE: ~ $55

PARKING: plenty of parking in the plaza (additional underground)

    Food: 5/5 stars
    Service: 5/5 stars
    Venue: 5/5 stars

Staff are super friendly and helpful. The joinwaistlist on Yelp is good to save the actual lineup time! Wagyu for hotpot waste really good.
