Inn of the Seventh Ray

This place is amazing. Food is crafted with extreme care, and you can tell the restaurant is run deliberately, and consciously. Often times that is hard to find in Los Angeles without it being a marketing gimic. This place has been itself for a very long time, and it's succeeded.

I wanted to take my girlfriend someplace romantic, The Inn was perfect. We sat outside and despite the cold weather we had a very pleasant experience. The staff had set up heat lamps and even provided us with nice blankets.

The setting was perfect, we sat high above and along side the running creek. The place was full and yet was quite and quaint enough to hear each other talk. The food was delicious. I had the braised short rib with leek potato soup - terrific! My girlfriend had the truffle risotto with chicken, this was fantastic and I’ll order next time. Desert was Banana bread pudding so good.

A completely unique dining experience, you'll love the atmosphere and really enjoy the food. The service is top notch and the owner who was playing host the night I was there was so friendly, I really enjoyed meeting her. The place is a bit pricey, but for a special romantic occasion it's absolutely worth it, 100%. Sit outside amongst the wildlife and you'll understand what makes this restaurant so special. They also have an amazing gift shop but be careful because you will want to buy everything in the store. This place is a gem, hidden in the middle of Topanga Canyon and just getting there feels like you are in for a really special evening. Put someone you love in the car and drive on up, when you leave you will be all the more in love.

It’s an amazing restaurant in the valley. Great ambience, very romantic. Great food options for vegetarians. I ordered Frittata and Garlic fries. They are the best!! The lavender mimosa is one of a kind ???? The Belgian waffle was super delicious. They add strawberry yogurt on the side which tastes like heaven!

Spectacular location. Absolutely beautiful, romantic. The flowers and twinkly lights and chandeliers were everything I've ever wanted in a romantic evening. Food was divine. Service was a bit slow, but I'd still come back because you just cant beat the setting.
