Topanga Living Cafe

Located on the Highway-27, Parking can be difficult at lunch time. There are a few steps in front of the restaurant otherwise you have to park on the curb with the cars passing by.
You want to sit outside, as it’s too noisy inside to have a relaxed conversation. With limited seating outside you usually don’t need to wait for a table to be available if you’re only two people. With a larger party it gets tricky.
Breakfast plate was ok, the combination was too dry, no sauce or dips, as you can see in the picture.
Breakfast Burrito was pretty good (with Turkey Sausage) and the sauces were a nice addition.
The Island Style plate was also really good. Crunchy fritters with a great salad.

Topanga Living Café is a small cafe located on the curving, mesmerizing Topanga canyon boulevard. They offer a variety of drinks, pastries and meals that I’m eager to go back and try. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The service is friendly and polite. The store is neat and tidy. I ordered 2 breakfast platters and two drinks and came out to ~$50. For me, it’s a little pricey but a lot of that is due to factors outside of their control. Everything was made to perfection so I say it’s worth it. Excellent job, I’m eager to return.

Amazing. I dream about this place from Toronto. I spent a weekend in Topanga and this cafe was highly recommended and it did not disappoint, I went back 2/3 days spent in the canyon when normally I always try to try something new but it was so good. I ordered the Island Style the first day; it is probably the most beautiful plate I’ve ever seen in my life but it ALSO delicious, packed with flavour! I also had the Highway 27 smoothie, an almond croissant, and Simple Brekky my second time back, all delicious. I found it fairly reasonably priced, lots of seating including a cute patio area, and I loved exploring the tables and shelves of knick knacks for purchase, lots to browse. My onlyyy complaint was the tiny parking lot which they can’t do much about, so you have to park on the side of the road which is basically a highway people fly down. Just be careful, it’s so worth it!

A nice little cafe in Topanga. This particular location has changed so much since the 1980s. Topanga Living Cafe upgraded the facility so nicely. Many vegan choices to choose from. Foods - very good, small portion, and pricy $$$$. I had the Island Style. The corn fritter was quite good. The salad was perfectly seasoned. Wish there was more salad on my plate. I was hungry a few hours later

Located in Topanga Canyon. It’s between valley and ocean. Great cafe for your brunch. They have fresh cakes and breads. They will be gone pretty quick on weekends. There are limited parking spots but you can park side of the road too. Check out the traffic signs.
