I'm not a buffet person, but my husband is, so we went. I feel like this place used to be more truly Japanese, but I think Korean people took over, so now it seems more mixed, like Korean/Japanese/Chinese. Sushi is ok for a buffet, you get one lobster piece per visit on Fridays and weekends (not sure how it is Mon-Thur), and they have pork belly that's pretty good (probably my favorite out of everything I tried). Customer service is on point; everyone is really nice there. If you love Asian buffets, you'll probably like this place.
Your better-than-average Japanese Seafood buffet. Quality of fish from seafood is pretty good. Variety of food is decent as well. Pricing is fair, although I think it could be maybe a dollar or two cheaper. Good for big parties, as this place is usually not too busy. Service is good, waiters are nice.
Came for lunch and the price is right for a all-you-can-eat sushi bar. The sushi is just average but then you don't come to a buffet if you're looking for the world's best. The rest of the food is very good, however, and the salad bar is excellent! Definitely worth the price for lunch and I'm thinking probably worth it for dinner, too, as that comes with more meat options as the hibachi grill was shut down for lunchtime.
Not crazy about Asian food but this place was great. Had our company Christmas lunch here this past Friday (12/14) and the selections and service were excellent!! ???????????? Everyone loved the food. It was fresh and plentiful. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner. ???????????????? Kuma ????
I've been coming to Kuma for a few years, and always with friends. You can't beat the price and the selection of various foods. I wish it was closer to where we live. All the foods and sushi I've tried there are great. The tempura is awesome. I went recently, with friends, and it appears that either ownership or management has changed. We were pleased to discover that the good quality food has become even better. My only complaint about Kuma is that (in the dessert section) the ice cream is like a very low grade of ice milk. Thankfully, there are other dessert offerings. I hope they read this and get some actual ice cream. You can't go wrong here, but just remember that their ice cream sucks..!!
