I like their kimchi fried rice.
Food is delicious in good portions. Spacious and clean environment. Good Korean vibe with background music. We ordered Beef over rice, Spicy Pork over rice and Jajangmyun (noodle with onion sauce). Full menu is not available since they are soft opening. Will come back again and try the Korean Army Stew, it sounds interesting.
Korean restaurant in the Vons complex serving toppoki, fried rice, stews, and more. Came here for dinner on Friday night in a group of four around 7pm and were seated immediately. There was only one employee working front of the house at the time, so props to her for handling the restaurant on her own. There was no banchan served. They currently don’t have alcohol but apparently they’re working on getting their license.
You can eat the dishes family-style; three dishes for the four of us was a good amount and we had leftovers good for one person. The crispy squid was nicely fried and came with a smoky, spicy chili sauce on the side. The bulgogi fried rice was a bit too oily, so I wouldn’t order that. The toppoki was a must-order. We paid extra to add in cheese (do it), 4 fried dumplings (not necessary), and udon (do it only if you like fat noodles). The sauce had a hint of spice but was mild overall. There was a generous amount of cheese and it comes with rice cakes and a few fish cakes.
