The hot pot plate is very good, many kinds of veggies and hot pot ingredients, even 2 pieces of large shrimps!! Definitely we will come again!
Great hot pot place! We have several choices of soup bases. The butter bear is definitely a visual bonus to the exceptional taste.
Good food and friendly staff!
Just ate there today and the food was great! I recommend the sweet pear juice drink they have as I loved it. Only hitch I came across was not being able to understand the dessert bar signs although everything else had English translations so it wasn't a bother. Definitely worth a try and I'll be coming back for more.
Family owned custom hot pot restaurant with dessert bar and lovely staff. Came here on a Sunday with the family for lunch at 11am when they weren’t open (they open at noon everyday) but they still welcomed us in. We weren’t expecting that at all and were fully prepared to come back, but it’s one of the examples of how hospitable the workers are.
You can customize your hot pot with as many or as little ingredients as you’d like. They have your standard hot pot ingredients as well as the more exotic cuts of meat. They bring them out to you as they’re prepared and they’re all extremely fresh. For example, the tofu platter we ordered had many types of tofu but all never broke apart even when they were in the soup for a long time. Lesser tofus would fall apart, but not these ones! The veggies were also really fresh and flavorful - my favorite was the corn. We got the spicy broth at a medium level and while we normally order a medium, I think we would’ve been better off with a mild. It’s definitely spicy! However it’s not the burning type of spicy but rather the numbing “mala-style” of spice where you can’t feel your tongue. As such, don’t eat the peppercorns if you don’t want t to be spicy or order the one with coconut milk! The base came in the form of a cute little bear but don’t let that deceive you.
There’s a sauce bar where you can customize so you can dip the ingredients and there’s a dessert bar with sesame balls (my favorite - I had five or so and they’re so cute and small), melons, and another pastry.
The food was good and the service was also such a highlight for us. Examples of their hospitality included offering us fresh sesame balls she had just fried while placing the ingredients out, giving us freebies for their grand opening, and being very attentive. She even gave me a container of sesame balls after I mentioned that they were my favorite.
There are appetizers you can order as well. The chicken wings were amazing. It was so perfectly crispy on the outside yet juicy on the inside. It was well-seasoned although some may find it a smidge too salty (I’d disagree but I’m writing an unbiased review). Bathrooms are available and can accommodate wheelchairs. There’s plenty of tables and they do take card. They give you a juice that tastes like jamaica (hibiscus drink) that helps take the edge off the spice. Overall I highly recommend coming here. The food is fresh and flavorful, the staff is so friendly and kind, and it’s a reasonable price. Come here to fill up on hot pot on a cold day (or any day you want some good hot pot).
