    In the West Covina area, you have your choice of Islands, Red Robin, and new kid The Habit (though not really in the same category since it doesn't offer full table service) for "gourmet" burger & fries type places. Each has its strong points, but I give a slight edge to Islands for its pleasant "quasi-island" decor (Red Robin's 50s theme seems a bit dated) and for outstanding sandwiches like their Pesto Paradiso Chicken sandwich, delicious chicken tortilla soup, and arguably tastier fries (skin-on) than other similar establishments.

    Received excellent service from Gregory.
    All of the wait staff there went above and beyond to completely satisfy my expectations. The food was amazing and I love the atmosphere of this location. Islands never disappoints!

    Happy Hour is awesome! The appetizers and beer are great. Probably have the best buffalo wings I've had in a long time. If you go before or after Happy Hour it can get pricey!

    Download the app and start earning rewards. I love it! My favorite burger is their teriyaki burger and to drink is their lava flow (alcoholic)their unlimited flies are also great with ranch to dip. Yummy!
    I feel awful for forgetting my servers name but she was an older waiter kinda had a hippie vibe. Anyways... she was fantastic and offered some of the best customer service ever! I seriously can't believe I forgot her name. And I was treated during this last visit so I can't look at the receipt and see her name. Anyways this place is great especially now that you can be rewarded and earn free stuff.
