    You have to love cafeteria food before 1996. Back when it was good! Cheap. Good. Shrimp are yummy and big! Nice outdoor seating area.

    I've been coming to Johnny's Shrimp Boat since I was little in the El Monte city location. Then, I've been coming to the West Covina location since it moved. Keeping the tradition going! Now I'm taking my kids; same as when my dad would take us! Their shrimp are so good and crunchy, gravy is the best over their beans and rice! I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you for keeping your menu the same, and the shrimp tastes the same after all these years!

    I love this place. Service is great too.. I don't eat sea food but Johnnys shrimp I will eat any day!! Let's not forget rice and gravy.. Yummmm!

    I love the shrimp and hamburger steak with rice! Was a little sad we didn't get our slice of bread and butter like the location near downtown L.A., but no big deal.
    Amazing the taste/recipe never changes! We will keep visiting from Texas!

    My family and I have been coming here for years. We love their food so much. I don't live in Los Angeles anymore, but when we do visit we always come back here. My family would get jealous if I send them a picture of Johnny's. They would always tell me to bring them back food regardless if it got cold. We live in San Francisco now, but visiting today. Cant wait for that food to touch my tongue. ????
