My family and I were in LA for a quick weekend for our son’s audition. We happened to stumbled upon this place and boy are we glad we did! I’m assuming the man running the joint that morning was the owner Chris himself. Super sweet dude, very attentive to us and got us fed right away especially knowing we had a little baby with us. On top of that the food was amazing. Quite perfect simple breakfast with Oat Banana Walnut griddle cakes that are to die for. We will be back! Thanks Chris and The Sunday Chef!

It's amazing that "healthy" griddle cakes can taste so delicious! This place is now a must-visit for me whenever I'm in town. Great, fast, and friendly service as well.

The sausage is pretty good as well, but some may find the non-traditional blend of herbs they add surprising.

Quite possibly the perfect restaurant with only one item. Whole-grain griddlecakes the likes of which you’ve never had anywhere; so flavorful with fruit, sweet flax granola, and their unique house-made salted butter .... that you never need syrup! Your tummy will be surprisingly full after this simple meal: but if you are REALLY hungry get a side of eggs or sausage (for vegans the chickpea sausage cannot be beat!) Just order at the counter and relax - you are going to have the best breakfast! Trust.

We enjoyed delicious pancakes, no syrup was served with them and no syrup was needed. The freshly squeezed orange juice was refreshing. Although the cafe was busy service was quick. The staff were laid back and friendly.
