A Toda Madre Mexican Kitchen

Some guy on Instagram showed a video of him here so i had to come by and let me tell ya the food was authentic and fresh made so delicious.

A Toda Madre was A TODA MADRE!

Rare to see a place live up to its name but in Uptown Whittier you will find one of those rare gems --A Toda Madre.

The menu wasn't popping off the pages or speaking foodie bliss to me but the warm welcoming personality presented by Will made it user friendly.

I took the conservative route by ordering off the appetizer menu (and cause it was past my fast time so I didn't want to gorge).

I ordered their Guajillo Chicken wings and an Elote.

The $4.99 price tag on the elote was a bit tough to chew on but hey, it's a restaurant so I was o.k. with it...that said, we also took Will's recommendation and tried the "Mar y Tierra" Bowl...it was Bowlicious!

Chicken wings were nice size (8pcs) and SUPER GOOD (Must try!)

The $4.95 Elote came with great presentation, some queso cotija and a chipotle and lime sauce that brought your every day corn to another level...another Must try!

The decor at ATM was super nostalgic and entertaining with an awesome and vibrant color scheme that screams Fun!

All in all, I gave ATM 4 Stars not because they are not 5 stars but rather because it was my first visit and there is always room to shoot for the stars ? (Also because the law of averages is always important to consider)
