“We got the breakfast burrito and 2 breakfast tacos. I am a notoriously pick BBQ eater, and LA BBQ is almost always an offense to my Texan BBQ upbringing. These guys were supper yum. It's lean meat, so it was a tiny bit drier than I prefer, but the flavor was amazing and it had a beautiful smoke ring. No goofy sauce here either, brisket done Texas style. Highly recommend this place. The only downside is the address in Google took me to the wrong place,(go to end of alley and it's right there on the corner) and no parking, at least in the morning, but it's worth it... Doooo it!”

“Pizza wasn't that bad. I personally like the chard taste of pizza. My kids on the other hand would not eat it. I have to admit there were a few slices that were even too burnt for my taste. (Some of the bottoms were completely burnt) the main down fall of Pizza Kraft is their amount of cheese was not to my expectations on a pizza. If the sauce shows through the pizza then I'd have to say they were skimping on the cheese.”

These places seemed to disappear as I grew older so when I stumbled across DD’s I was compelled to give ‘em a try. As I was waiting with my son for our order DD himself came around and my man has great southern hospitality, something missed in society these days. This man has his kids teamed up and cooking with him which awesome. His welcoming heart and love for his food shines through in his food for sure. Right when I looked at the bottom of the pizza I knew the dough was freshly made and the crunch and texture it had was excellent. Most importantly I had no brain fog after I ate this pizza and I felt fine. If I eat at Little Caesars or Domino's I feel extreme brain fog and lethargic. Whatever they're doing in this place they better not stop because this is not only tasteful but it's also good for your health. I only gave four stars because I didn't like the sauce on the pizza that much it was kind of sour and watered down and there was not enough cheese in the calzone it just felt like dry cheese with pepperoni. Other than that this place is worthy of four stars”

Chicken was great, mac and cheese complimented the fries really well, and the fries were cooked perfectly. All for about $12. Worth it. They also have calorie counts for their fries which I find really helpful.”

“We ordered a large cheese Pizza and a extra large olive and mushroom pizza. The pizzas were excellent but when we called, the phone service was a bit 4 star wanky. The person who answered did not give the name of the company. Then proceeded to argue that there was no website. Which we were looking at at the time. But the pizza was ready on time we just went in got the pizza and had some great pizza. I will definitely try them again and see if we can add in that extra star. :-)”

On top of the food quality, everything is prepared/packed extremely well which makes Piccini arguably one of the best spots in LA for takeout/delivery.
