“Delicious dishes. Friendly service. One thing disappointing is that when they are busy, it’s obvious that they don’t have enough people to attend the tables — we asked to get more water three times and ended up not getting it.”

“I've been to some gluten-free bakeries and none of them have good pastries like Flourchylde. Their breads and pastries aren't grainy or tough or have a glutinous texture like a mochi. There's also flavor in their sandwiches. I like it here. It makes me feel welcomed.”

“$95 for dinner for two, not including alcohol? It's good but not that good. We did two med pizzas, wings, and garlic bread. Iced teas for both of us and it came out to $94. Just surprising since pizza places used to be where you grabbed a cheap bite. The food is ok too. I come for the wings which I rate high, but that pizza is floppy and not as good as Lo Coco's pizza in San Rafael. And yes the Lo Coco's is just as expensive, but it's a better taste. I want to like this place but we base other nicer meals on the price, like all you can eat sushi in San Diego is cheaper. A three hour, four course meal at Melting Pot is cheaper... You get the point. Cute place with nice family own feel and vibe but there are other better places.”

“One of the town's more popular places to eat out. And for good reason. Unlike most of the other eateries downtown this has great food and great service. This is sadly quite rare. Although always busy during the lunchtime, you can normally find a seat quite easily in the evening. Highly recommended”

“Cool people, great selection of food. Free chips and salsa which is always a plus. The asada tacos were a bit bland. But the lengua (tongue) tacos were delicious. Burritos here and pretty big for the price. Dinning room is small but cozy”

“This is a fantastic Mom and Pop's Restaurant. The food is always delicious especially during lunch time. When you go in you know you are going to get really great food because the people there obviously care about the quality. If you are going to be in Novato and want Chinese food this is definitely the place you want to go to get it. Absolutely delicious and a wonderful experience!”

“My family LOVES Little Goan! The best vegan lentil dish and gluten free pesto naan are like staples in our home. The people are so friendly and remember us when we order (often). We tell everyone to support them especially because they can be forgotten because they are in the almost empty Square shopping center.”

“Good Chipotle. I ordered the bowl and my coworker ordered the tacos. We were both happy with our experience. They were confused with her vegetarian tacos when she mentioned that guacamole was supposed to be included with the tacos. Once that was sorted out, we had no other issues. The confusion lasted a bit with the employees, but no other issues!”

“A little out of town, and sitting next to the decidedly bleak shopping area that features the DMV, this places misses out on a lot of passing traffic. But it is definitely worth visiting. The food is great, and the service far superior to a lot of the other Mexican restaurants in the area.”

“Matsuyama is a really unassuming place. It's quiet, and just enough out of the way that you might go by it without realizing. It's not big and fancy, sleek and stylish. It's quite homely, but also very cozy. But in a town that has several Japanese restaurants, Matsuyama has everything going for it. The menu selection is pretty substantial, a great mix of classic items and their own creations. Their gyoza, in particular, are spot on. They have the special prices at lunchtime, which is a great reason for locals to visit during work, and the portions are always enough that you are getting two meals worth. Even when it comes to the sushi. Now, one of my great shortcomings in life is that I can't eat sushi. But I can tell a story. I recently visited Matsuyama with a group of people who had never been there before, and many of whom enjoy sushi a lot. Every single one of them was impressed with the quantity and quality of sushi for the price. Matsuyama's notoriety in town is firmly grounded in its delicious food. Which, you know...for a restaurant is probably a good thing. I say the next time you're feeling like treating yourself to something special, definitely give this a try.”

“Greasy spoon diner. Never disappoints. I've heard some locals complain, but I don't know what they expect. It's cheap, fast, big servings and an enormous menu. Don't get too fancy with your order. And certainly don't try to watch your calories. But if you're hung over, or looking for a late night diner or just want a good club sandwich, burger, or loaded baked potato. Star is the jam”
