“Classic Shell gas station. Seems like a well stocked mini mart food and other thing. Over priced as usual for convenience stores. Service for the most part is very good, just don't have complaints because then things move at molasses speed. I had lots of trouble with their car wash not working right, mostly at the beginning. Now the car wash seems ok.”

“A nice addition to the local cuisine scene. Let me start by saying this is more like a Vietnamese/Chinese Fusion spot. But it's still good! The Food: Overall, I liked it! I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken (which I was surprised finding something like this at a Vietnamese place). I was a little suspect but it was lovely! The vegetables were fresh and not overcooked but also not undercooked, the sauce was not overpowering and complimented the flavors & textures of the dish. Of course the celery and peanuts added the crunch that you like to have to offset the beef and chicken (It was a combo plate). That with a side of rice and and an Elysian Space Dust made the dining experience really enjoyable. My wife got the Beef Pho...because Pho. She liked it but she made a comment that it was a little heavy on the cinnamon in the broth. I found that a little interesting. My daughter had the same but kids size and she doesn't care as long as there's noodles involved lol. Again, because Pho. Ambiance: The location used to be a druid hall and it's in one of the oldest buildings in downtown Novato. However the new owners really cleaned up thee place. It is narrow and deep layout so lots of booths on one side of the entry/mid section and more seating in the rear. If your in the front/mid area you will be right next to the kitchen. My family and I don't mind the noise and activity because we're all foodies. If you are sensitive to that kind of stuff maybe the back is more your jam. Service: Very attentive. We had 3 servers and they were ON IT!!! I think we ordered and I only had 2 sips of my beer before my plate showed up. Of course the plates coming out were staggered but I didn't mind and the differential between plates coming out wasn't bad. Location: It is downtown Novato so expect terrible parking at times. However as stated above, I think it's a great addition to the local community. In closing, I'm glad La Maison De La Riene is here. Some of the local asian cuisine isn't great. In the downtown area you have great options next door for Thai, Sushi and Indian. Other than that, other offerings are lacking and I think this will fill a void nicely. Give it a shot and let me know what YOU think!”

“They have cinnamon and an outlet charging the phones. Outside tables, the mall makes me think of Mill Valley with Toast, Peets, a Bank, Safeway.”

“Got the sandwich with chicken and basil cream on sourdough bread, and the red potato salad. Food was good all around; the bread had a great texture. I'm usually not huge on potato salad but the one here was great. Small place but a cute deli atmosphere, a good selection of chips and drinks. I'd recommend.”

“We’ve been going to this Lucky faithfully since October 2021 every Friday and most of the time the employees just stare at my daughter and I. But our last trip last Friday 08/05/22 we were greeted by the best employee this place has, her name is Lavender. My daughter and I went to the Deli to get 2 sandwiches and Lavender made it the best experience we’ve ever had at any grocery store. Great customer service and very knowledgeable of what she was doing. Thank you Lucky for having such a great asset on your team.”

“All that is good is available at the aptly named Trailhead, an excellent restaurant to gather before or after a hike. Hikes are described on clipboards along the wall. The food is good too, of course! I've had the pulled pork, bratwurst, and a wonderful salad. They have a good selection of beer, ( Hazy IPA is the most popular) along with cappuccino and espresso drinks. The sodas are house made. I highly recommend Trailhead.”

“Very Expensive but that is to be expected on the main strip. Great Air Conditioner inside. Outdoor seating is lovely. We ordered 2 sandwiches and the meats were high quality, however the baguette bread on both sandwiches was to put it kindly extremely tough. One suggestion might be is to consider adding Dutch Crunch as a bread option for those patrons who enjoy a crunchy crust with a soft center. Regardless five stars for aesthetics and ambiance”

“Saturday, May 6th, we tried out Blazers of Novato. We were Very Pleasantly surprised of how nice it was inside asthetically. Also the food was delicious and we really recommend their hot wings. Pulled pork sandwich and Southwest salad we found to be very good. Inaddition, service was good and even Keri the owner, sat with us and chatted about her and Eriks new place. Touching base with gave it a nice touch. We will be back to try other menu items! Larry and Sue B.”

“Such a treat to have a healthy alternative in Southern Novato without having to go downtown! It's nestled between Marin Coffee Roasters and Boca Pizza where the space museum used to be. Great friendly staff with a lot of variety. I'll definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu.”

“Omg! This is a hidden gem, the food were delicious, rice were flavorful and meat were tender and juicy. The owner was very nice and accommodating. We ended our meal with a Turkish coffee, which was amazing. I would definitely return again. Beware, this is little place is a hole in a wall, or should i say, a hole in a mom and pop grocery store. Prices are slightly high, however, it’s definitely worth it.”

“Same place as Crave but with Mexican food. Seemed like the same staff. They were good and attentive, as before. Food was ok but not any better than the place around the corner or any of the other places in the area but with a higher price tag. I got the $14 tacos (pic) against my wife's advice, but wanted to try. Should have listened. They were ok, after I added guacamole and cheese, but left me hungry. Her enchiladas were good, but drowned in sauce. The rice was tasteless and the refried beans were eh... We got the sopes for an app and they were bland.”

“Great atmosphere, very warm and inviting. Good for casual dining, business dining or first date… Dress up or down. SAUTEED PETRALE SOLE MEUNIERE**** absolutely amazing! So delicate and flavorful, I strongly recommend this dish if you like fish. I would have given 5 stars but the Calamari was over cooked. Very rubbery and way too crispy.”
