Cowgirl Creamery Barn Shop & Cantina (In-Store)

Address: 80 4th St, Point Reyes Station, CA 94956, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“California is crazy for this brand, so we were excited to check out this company store on a Hwy 1 drive. It’s definitely good, but kind of a strange place. No dedicated facilities, so the first task for road-trippers is to find the one public bathroom across town before settling into lunch. The store doesn’t have dedicated space for lunch, so we ate it at a park around the corner. After all this exploring to basically eat a - decidedly delicious - sandwich, soup and salad, we went back to the store at 4:02pm to buy some cheese and learned they had just closed for the day. Definitely a work-to-live move and can’t hate them for it. All said, the lunch was great but the experience a bit more of an adventure than planned. Easy to do as a couple but would involve a lot of wrangling with a larger family.”

“If you are hungry in Point Reyes Station, there aren’t a ton of options. I’ve been to Osteria Stellina a few times now and really appreciate what they do Day in and day out. Local farms, artesian makers and seasonal ingredients make this restaurant standout. Station House Cafe

Restaurant

“Beautiful drive to Point Reyes. Restaurant was not crowded. Service was excellent. Food likewise. We had Rubin sandwiches, which were delicious. Only complaint was they served us a 'new' Mustard container, with the factory sealed still on it. Made it hard to get the mustard out until we figured it out. Seems like this happens to me all the time. We will be back in the future.”

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Food was very good. Strange thing is before paying we told the cashier we wanted to also get chips and drinks so she said to go ahead and get them so we did and came back to the front and were completely just ignored while standing there. Weren’t sure if we paid then or not, and seeing there was a line and a crowd of people standing and waiting figured we would sit down and wait. We noticed everyone started to get their food and I told my boyfriend if the order went in? So he went up and asked and she said yes, and he also said if he can pay now and the lady seemed to have given attitude that we opened the chips and drinks before paying and told him to next time go to the front before opening... well maybe you guys need to get off your phones and notice people standing with items in their hands or better yet, a sign? or better communication with clients on how it works for people who are not from the area. Before returning back to seat my boyfriend had also asked if they were able to cut the burrito in half since we were sharing. She pointed to the plastic knifes and said once you receive it just cut it yourself. Like, dude..I’m paying for a burrito and if I asked you a simple favor of cutting it while your already doing the burrito if you can cut it with a an actual sharp knife and not a plastic flimsy fork knife But it is it is and I guess that was something they can’t do? Not sure but for that reason I Made a little mess because it wasn’t easy cutting a burrito with a plastic knife. but besides that happening, The salmon “special” burrito was good.”
