Meadow Grill

Nestled in the middle of historic Camp Curry is this restaurant offering numerous food options. Whether you're getting ready to fuel yourself before hitting the trails or you're trying to recover from your strenuous hike, Meadow Grill will get the job done! I had the chance to try their shrimp pad Thai burger and it was surprisingly flavorful! If you forgot to pack lunch, then give this place a try.

It's a place that is easy to get to and has ample parking. Ordering was fast and the food comes out fast which is a plus after a long hike. I ordered the chicken pot pie and the pork and lemongrass rice bowl. I was quite surprised at the chicken pot pie. It has crust on the side and bottom and the filling was flavorful. The rice bowl on the other hand was okay. Rice was fine as well as the veg toppings. I was not impressed with the pork. It didn't seem that flavorful and I couldn't taste the lemongrass.

Reasonably priced burgers considering the restaurant is in a national park and down a 5000 foot valley. After our 6 mile hike, we would have happily paid $14 for a burger and were pleased to find out that they were only about $7 each. We decided to make ours a double, which added on another $4 or so.

Had a very good experience in this place with my kids. The food was served quickly and the customer service is just fantastic. Prices are reasonable.
