Really nice but it took a long time to get service was really busy there other than that it was awesome

Great place to stay! The staff who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, nice, and spacious. We had no issues parking, and even though there’s no AC, we were plenty comfortable with the windows open. We greatly appreciate that there was a box fan in the room to help pull in the fresh air from the window. We didn’t eat here this time, but maybe next time. We would stay here again. Thanks so much!

Authentic feel to the restaurant. The food, wow. A lot of it too. Great service.

It's a sufficient place to stay. Clean rooms, good condition, all basic amenities. The carpet floor is my biggest complaint, even with super cleaning it's gonna end up disgusting. The room has balcony access wich is nice, as the smell of cleaning and carpet would've been a bit muffy over night. No AC, no problem for me, wasn't hot and as European I'm not used to ACs anyways.

Don't visit the restaurant, as a native German I found their food to be fine, but absolutely overpriced. Come to Germany or Austria :D. There are much better options in town.

The location is nice although a bit off. The main street with most of the restaurants is 1,3 miles downhill.

Staff is friendly. It's great that they offer free breakfast, sure it isn't big or even continental, but it's free and satisfies all my breakfast needs.

This is a standard 3 star hotel but with free breakfast. Please get rid of the carpet floor!

Staff was lovely and super helpful from the person that helped us check in/out to everyone that works in the restaurant.

The room we had looked very modern, featuring an electric fireplace. (My pet peeve is all brown and outdated hotel rooms and this one was definitely not that!) There was also a little fridge, microwave and hair dryer which are always a big plus!

We had dinner at the lodge's restaurant twice and the food was lovely. I am originally from Europe so I was happy to see some traditional German and Hungarian dishes on the menu because it reminded me of home. (The goulash was delicious by the way and the soup of the day is always a great idea for a fast and cozy option, especially after a day of hiking).

They also have a jacuzzi out on the terrace available to the guests until the evening.

These are some of my usual issues with hotels and this one was no different in these regards:

The pillows and duvet are the kind that feel very synthetic and not breathable that make it very uncomfortable to sleep. They had an extra blanket in the closet that we ended up using instead of the duvet and that made it much better.

The shower head is the kind that you can't pick up and move around which I find really annoying. I just want to be able to get water wherever I need it to go lol.

Anyway, that sums up my thoughts. Even though there were a couple of things I didn't like, it wasn't enough to make me give it less stars. I would definitely stay here again. 😊
