El Charro Taqueria

Searching for something good to eat on a rainy day in Mammoth Lakes, it seemed like every sit down restaurant had an hour wait, so we decided to hit up El Charro. No wait and solid California Burrito, nacho fries with several good house salsas. Worth checking out if you're in town and need a warm and filling meal.

Had a fantastic torta! Food came out quick and the salsa was amazing. My friend also really liked the beef burrito. There was inside and outdoor seating as well!

This is where the locals go for a quick grab. Dine in or take out. Lots of parking available. Friendly service. It appears to have no restroom available but Vons is just across the street.

Visiting from east coast and was looking for asomething quick after a long day at mammoth.

Whoever wrote that last review probably owns competition nearby. Got al pastor and carne asada tacos and a side of chips and salsa. All of it was fresh and amazing. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a chill night in or a quick bite.

Was recommended this establishment by a local for great Mexican eats and it did not disappoint. The shrimp burrito is amazing and shrimp is deep fried. The sauce here is also very fun. Both the red sauce and green sauce. The enchiladas are not bad either! The rice and beans were simple and to the point. I highly would recommend them for burritos and tacos.
