Absolutely gorgeous!
First of all we took a drink in a cocoon room and hopefully we've had the chance to have a dinner in the restaurant.
The cooking of the lamb as a starter is worthy of the finest restaurants.
The elk médaillons are absolutely perfects.
Furthermore, the chef combines flavors and high quality products and the choice of wines is made with finesse.
It is a delight for the taste buds.

Absolutely wonderful from meal from beginning to end. Enjoyed tartare, soup, elk, fish and desserts. Best kitchen in mammoth if looking for non everyday food. The ambiance was great. The server, Michael, spectacular with descriptions and suggestions. This is our first visit in 30 years to Mammoth. It will be the first of many!

The food was top notch, every single thing was palatable. The service was top notch, Bryan made us feel comfortable and special. The location and interior keep you immersed in the Lakes Basin. The restaurant well deserves its reputation of one of the best in the area.

Tonight was our first time at Lakefront and it was a perfect dining experience. We have enjoyed the property for day visits to cross country ski and snow shoe (the Manager and all staff in the ski hut were wonderful), and one of our friends at home recommended we eat at the restaurant. We could not have been more pleased. The cozy atmosphere in the lodge/lounge is perfect and the intimate dining room has a view from every table. Our server Mike was excellent and a joy to engage with, and our meal from beginning to end was absolutely enjoyable, relaxing and delicious. Chef Miles has put together a perfectly balanced boutique menu - our only regret is that we did not have a chance to thank him in person for giving us a 5 star last dinner in Mammoth before we head home to San Diego. We will be back!

This is a great place to go if you have food allergies or gluten issues. Just call them in advance to let them know - while making your reservation. The staff honestly and actually care about your health and your experience. And the food is always creative and always excellent. Worth a booking.
