A lot of history in this place! Well preserved and full of memorabilia. We had a hearty American breakfast with a side of country fried steak which I really recommend. Home made salsa is bomb! We enjoyed the family atmosphere and our friendly server.
This is a must stop on your way down the 395. Whether you are fishing or paddling at Crowley Lake, live in the area (lucky you), or are just driving by and are hungry never don’t stop here! This place has earned that right, surviving two pandemics, they must have it figured out. The place was clean, bathrooms included. The staff was very friendly and scenery while dining was very interesting and a good conversation starter. Oh, you want to know about the food, ok. So the prices are good and the food better. I’d definitely come back.
Excellent restaurant, always great waitress staff. Food is very good at reasonable prices. Sit on the deck outside by Rock Creek, weather permitting.
Was very busy, we had an infant with us and wanted to be outdoors to avoid too many people. They were wonderful in accomodating very quickly. Server was terrific. Took off one star because, unfortunately they only 2 prime rib specials left and they were overcooked, kitchen should have let us know so could order something else. Everything else was delicious. Will definitely go back again.
We were served with Cathy that day and she is a good hostess who made sure we enjoyed our food and even gave us a little history about these places. Tom's place is historic and have endured a few ownerships. It is across their lodging and very near to a sno-park.
I had a Turkey toast sandwich which despite being a bit salty, it was very delish.
If I'm on 395 again, I would stop by here again.
