COAST Big Sur

Coast Cafe and Gallery is an exceptionally beautiful stop along the road to through Big Sur. Parking is tight, but there is plenty of space inside to browse the gallery of fine stone and glass sculptures for sale or sit and relax drinking some of their wonderful cafe drinks while watching the Pacific ocean. The staff were very friendly, competent, and helpful.

Lovely gallery. The art in there is very beautiful and very interesting and you can buy it and other souvenirs. They have a cafe and I had banana bread. It was quite tasty and moist; although pricey ($5) but what can you expect from a tourist area. The views from the upper patio were absolutely beautiful. They have bathrooms there. It's a nice stop while winding up or down hwy 1.

Perfect spot to stop and chill a little bit in the middle of your big sur trip. They have also amazing coffee and ice cream.
Definitely stop here.

The ladies at the cafe are friendly and the baked goods were delicious. My brother and I ordered soft serves and enjoyed it on the rooftop. The views were beautiful

Amazing views from the rooftop terrace, and a really cool atmosphere. However, the ice cream was really expensive, and didn’t taste very good. The vanilla was gritty and did not taste like vanilla. The strawberry tasted like plastic.
