This Carmel classic has been around since I can remember. The fare is basic, hearty and traditional. Service is average, ambiance zero, which is one reason that they remain a top value for money. Bring your appetite. Great outdoor seating for pets and the claustrophobic. Breakfast gratifying.

Very good. Excellent service. They need to add Salmon to the menu and perhaps re-think the appraisers/starts. Maybe a few different salads as well. Scallops with risotto was very good as the special. 3 and a half to 4 stars as the wait staff is outstanding!

This was a recommendation from one of the shop locals. Glad we went! Indoor / outdoor seating. Simple decor and great service. Food was delicious! Plenty of mushrooms/spinach/and tasty sausage in my omelette. They even make their own hot sauce. A must stop if you in the area.

This place is outstanding. Decor was nice and relaxed. Service was terrific. I had an omelet made to my liking with plenty of spinach and fresh mushrooms and tasty apple chicken sausage, topped with pepper Jack cheese. A definite stop if your in Carmel by the Sea

We came here late on a Monday, so we had the place all to ourselves. They had a few vegan options, including the impossible burger, which was wonderful! Our server, Andres, was very sweet and accommodating.

We were seated next to their fire pit outside, which was quite comfortable. They gave us some blankets as well in case we got chilly.

They also had French press coffee served with coconut milk, which was excellent.
