Cafe dal Mare

Visited this spot twice during my stay in Carmel, for good reason! It is 100% on the pricier side but for the fresh and tasty dessert you’re getting, it is very well worth it. They had different desserts and pastries on both my visits (and this was 2 days after each other, so that says a lot). The owner was very friendly as well, and this is a business I will happily come back to and share with others if I have the opportunity to do so. Highly recommend! Especially their pistachio cake, that was my absolute favourite.

Amazing place for dessert in Carmel - a must-visit! We had the Tony Spumoni gelato and the pistachio ricotta cake and both desserts were delightful. The gelato was rich and creamy, the cake was so light and airy but still rich in flavor. Amazing service as well - very friendly and helpful. One thing to be careful about - choosing what to get will be very hard :)

We had a great after meal visit for some Fiorellos ice cream, creme brulee and a tea. It reminded me of our visit to cozy little pasty shops in Switzerland! Must try this place when in Carmel.

Needed a last minute dessert for a dinner party and they were able to help me with some stuffed mini beignets that could be ready next day!

Adorable little cafe! It was a magical experience. My aunt and I had the Dolmas lunch, which we found very tasty, followed by a slice of Italian cake and a chocolate cookie. The owner has beautiful handwriting and was very kind to us in our conversations. We wished her good luck in her new adventure.
