We've been to Woody's at the Monterey Airport and have enjoyed it, so when we heard Woody's was opening a second location at Del Mesa, 5 minutes from our home, we were excited to try it. First impressions: incredibly attentive staff and great food!! We received a complimentary taster at the beginning of the meal, made with fresh local ingredients, as well as a complimentary ceviche appetizer and a delicious dessert, again made with local ingredients. All of our main courses were excellent. They currently have only wine and beer, no full bar, but that didn't impact our enjoyment of the evening. Henry, the maitre d', is super personable as was the rest of the wait staff. We wish them great success.
