Spotted Duck

I would give them 6 stars if I could. Duck pate, mussels starters, duck and scallop entrees brought me back to San Francisco 30 years ago. I will come back to the peninsula if only to dine here.

We had an excellent experience at the Spotted Duck! From the greeting when we walked in the door, the excellent table service and the spectacular food, this quickly became our favorite dinner experience in Monterey. We enjoyed the lamb gnocchi and the scallop entrees and would go back to have them again. Our next visit we look forward to the duck and the risotto entrees!

I love coming here. They have a robust wine selection, wine-based cocktails, and very delicious food. You can’t go wrong.

Excellent food with friendly and knowledgeable service. Our previous dining experiences at other restaurants in PG have been hit or miss (regardless of price) so we arrived at this restaurant somewhat jaded. However, our expectations were exceeded and we will definitely return next time we are in the area. It's the kind of place where you can tell the chef and waitstaff are very invested in the quality of the food. Everything with duck was excellent and the other seafood etc dishes were superb as well.

As a group we shared multiple dishes, allowing to taste so many wonderful things.
The duck was perfect, the tomato and cheese tastes like Sumer exploded in my mouth. The French poutine, could teach the Canadians a thing or two. The scallops were fresh and melted in my mouth. The Affogato was creamy and did not keep me up all night
It was wonderful, looking forward to going back to try the rest
